Prof Dr Marc K Peter is a leading expert in digital transformation, digital business development and digital strategies.
Prof Peter worked in Swiss SMEs as well as in large corporations including eBay, E*TRADE and LexisNexis in the areas of strategy, technology, sales and marketing in Europe and Asia-Pacific.

As General Manager of LexisNexis Pacific, Marc K Peter developed and implemented a holistic, digital transformation strategy with 380 employees over a period of six years, which created new, digital business ventures and optimised processes in order to drive sustainable value creation.

Dr Marc K Peter investigates the drivers, barriers, risks and concepts within digitalisation, digital transformation, workplace transformation, cybersecurity and digital marketing.

He is a Professor and Head of the Competence Centre Digital Transformation at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland FHNW in Olten/Switzerland.

Marc Peter supports organisations in digital transformation and teaches at several universities (including Rochester-Bern Executive Programs, University of Basel, University of Freiburg). He is also an Adjunct Professor at Charles Sturt University (CSU) in Australia.

Marc K Peter studied electronic business engineering at the Bern University of Applied Sciences (CH) and corporate finance at UC Berkeley (USA). He holds a Master of Marketing from the University of Basel (CH), an Executive MBA from BFH (CH), Babson College (USA) and PKU (CN) and a Doctorate (Doctor of Business Administration) from CSU (AUS).

Prof Peter completed various executive programmes at Columbia University, Harvard Business School, MIT and Stanford University. Marc is a Fellow of the British Computer Society (UK) and the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK).
